THE SPIRIT CREATOR WILL EISNER/TARZAN ARTIST BURNE HOGARTH LETTERS.
Lot of three. All were sent to Jim Ivey, curator of world's first cartoon museum, editorial cartoonist of "Orlando-Sentinel" and co-founder and chairman of Orlandocon comic convention. Pair of Will Eisner letters are each 5.5x8.5" on his printed Will Eisner Studios Inc. stationery. Both are handwritten in blue ballpoint pen. First is dated July 6, 1978 regarding a piece of cover art for Milt Gross fund auction. Second is dated 8/13/84 accepting invitation to Orlandocon. Burne Hogarth 2-7/8x4.25" note card w/colorful printed art of lion on front opens to double page letter accepting invitation to Orlandocon w/mention of lecture. Comes w/envelope postmarked Aug. 11, 1974. First Eisner letter has handling fold through center w/lt. dust soil. Hogarth envelope has some tanning on front but letters themselves are Fine to VF.
