Both of these items are from the estate of Art Sohmer who was Agnew’s chief of staff in the Nixon White House and with Agnew since his first successful election in 1962 for Baltimore County Executive. One piece is a 2.5 x 3.75 folded card. Front calls him The Man With A Plan.” Interior shows map of the beltway around the city with exit numbers. Reverse gives his bio. Mint. Second is a steel 12” ruler with slogan “Vote For The Man Who Measures Up To The Office.” Mint. A rare pair.
