AIRPLANE DIVISION/CURTISS-WRIGHT CORP. BUFFALO PLANT EMPLOYEE BADGE.
2” metal case with copper luster on reverse and name of maker W&H. Front has cello over paper insert with numeral “9.” Copper luster of the narrow metal front rim but 80% still on reverse. Numerous but mostly small scratches on the heavy cello cover sheet but still displays cleanly. Very limited issue and we estimate from the 1920s. An early aviation industry rarity.
