Item Description
3.25x5" diecut card stock folder © Fawcett Publications Inc.  c. 1944 produced by The Advertisers Service Division Inc.  Folder opens to length of 13" w/text on one side reading "Find The Hero Of Heroes Captain Marvel Without Tearing, Bending Or Ripping The Seal/Can You Help Billy Batson."  Panels include different images of Billy Batson including two of him in front of a "WHIZ" microphone.  Object was to fold the card using the diecut flap in a manner in which a completed image of Captain Marvel would appear.  This must have proved frustrating for the original owner as they snipped the original strip of tape so the folder could be unfolded and assembled properly, easier than trying to figure it out.  Our photo shows the folder completely open front and back along w/completed version which reads "At Last The World's Mightiest Mortal Captain Marvel."  Lt. aging, 1.5" area at corner of one panel w/slightly darker tanning.  Overall still remains totally clean.  VF.  Scarce.
