Item Description
First is 2.5" long metal paper clip with celluloid 1.75" advertising for "Star Egg Carriers And Trays." Shows a box with broken egg captioned "Old Method" and then the compartmentized carrier captioned "No Broken Eggs" with the phrase "It's Up To You." Center has 3 or 4 extremely tiny cello craze cracks but piece still displays Exc. although metal areas are lightly oxidized. Only the second we've seen of this. Next is the "Thermo-Scope/Better Than A Thermometer" with advertising for "Becker's Bread." Reverse has brass eyelet for suspension and the piece is totally clean except for a little brass luster off the back top edge. Thermometer seems to be working correctly. Third is 4.5" tall double-sided horseshoe-shaped cardboard case containing apparent complete quantity of sewing needles in 5 separate packages. Great graphics of horse race on one side while on opposite side a woman poses next to a horse. Clean and N. Mint. Last is a black-bristled clothing brush with a 3.5" dia. celluloid handle inscribed "Mardi Gras 1922/The Finest All-Year Hotel In The South - Compliments Of The St. Charles." Tiny loss of black paint on the underside rim but o/w Exc. and with name of maker on curl Phila. Badge. A nice group of unusual ad specialty items.
