Item Description
8.5x14x23" box. Text includes "Realistic Player Actually Shoots Baskets! Automatic Scoring! Marx-O-Matic As Seen On TV." Game consists of 6" tall plastic mechanical player that stands on top of 14x22" steel court with 11" high backboard. Trigger mechanism behind player shoots ping pong ball at hoop. Each shot is registered on player base. Baskets are registered on scoreboard each time the ball goes through the hoop. c. 1960s. Box is tanned and top is slightly concave, but remains sturdy and VG. Player and court remain bright with all mechanical portions working. Complete with ping pong ball and instructions. Overall Fine.
