Item Description
2-13/16” tall. Silvering is cloudy and dark on the perimeter but silvering largely intact. At the top of the reverse where cello meets the collet there are a half dozen pinpoint missing flakes and at the bottom of the reverse the collet has a very slight dent with a tiny pinpoint of metal which did not go beneath the celluloid edge. These are all very small defects and do not interfere at all with the celluloid front which is extremely clean and glossy and with exceptionally deep and rich colors. In reflected light the celluloid to the left of the woman’s face has a streak 1/8” wide by 7/8” long where the celluloid surface is just a hair less than totally smooth. This mark shows only in certain angles of reflected light and under vast majority of viewing conditions is not seen at all. Extremely Fine but still displaying Mint.
