Item Description
Small button is .75” while the other four are 1.25” and the one is joined to a tin clicker to make an overall height of 3.25” tall. First item is a 2.5” tall enamel on brass stickpin with the device carrying the name “Sharples.” Tiny brass luster loss mostly from the reverse. Scarce and Exc. Next are a pair of colorful 1.25” Sharples buttons from a set of six designs. Each has its W&H back paper. Button with clicker is for the “Empire Cream Separator.” Clicker is operating and reverse has W&H paper. The small “Sharples” button has slight bit of fade to the red color and a thin layer of oxidation on the metal back but still displays well and with nice gloss. The Washington button is from the early 1900s and has tiny W&H text on the back with bigger text “Iowa Dairy Separator/Waterloo, Iowa.” Exc. to NM except as noted.
