Sizes are 7/8” to 2.25”. All are buttons or badges with the exception of a small tie bar in the bottom row showing a “Lockheed” gasoline pump. Group begins with early button for “Polarine And Red Crown Gasoline.” Slightest fade of the red color and a tiny 1/16” mark on one of the letters at top. Next is figural “Shell Petroleum Corp.” silvered brass badge, c. 1930s. Next shows can of “Veedol.” Next promotes “Willard Storage Battery” with cartoon character and date of 1917. Other buttons for chains, tires and spark plugs. The large litho button showing cartoon horse and bath tub has near microscopic all over craze lines but almost no paint loss and still displays nicely as do the other items with exceptions as noted.
