Item Description
First is 1-5/8” long exact replica of a fireman’s trumpet. There is a small ring along one side. Pushing in the mouth piece end causes a sharp plunger to pierce the end of a small cigar placed in the larger opening. Tiny bend on the oval mouth piece but barely seen. Next is 1-7/8” tall figural bottle. Loop end is twisted causing the oval brass label area to lift up so that a cigar can be placed in the open end and then the label is squeezed closed to cut the cigar. Label features Maltese cross at center inscribed “Veritas.” Surrounding this is text naming a medical company dating back to 1853. This reads “De Luyties-Special Bottlings.” About 50% silvering remains on the figural bottle. Both pieces operate perfectly. Early 1900s
