Item Description
1.25” high quality real photo button without back paper reading “Good Luck Jimmy/Braddock Boosters” with spring pin holding accent rwb ribbon plus a green ribbon to represent his Irish heritage. After a stalled career due to hand injuries during the Depression when he was forced to work on the docks, he made a comeback in 1935 and shocked the boxing world with a victory over Max Baer winning the Heavyweight title and thus receiving the nickname “Cinderella Man” from sports writer Damon Runyon. A rare button NM displaying Mint. Also see rare Joe Louis ring in our section of premium rings.
