Item Description
Pair of 5.25x7.25" Issued by various dairies, first issue (Vol. 1, No. 10 - Aug. 1934) has 16 pages and "Detroit Creamery" imprint. Cover is tennis-themed w/Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Horace Horsecollar, Pluto and Clarabelle Cow. Issue features illustrated "'The World's Fair' Says Mickey" story featuring Mickey and Minnie visiting the 1934 Chicago World's Fair. Additional "Gulliver Mickey" illustrated story as well as cut-out Mickey and Pluto page. Each issue of this series features different Disney specialty art on back covers for dairies. Second issue (Vol. 2, No. 8 - June 1935) has 16 pages and "Clover Farm" imprint. Cover features Mickey flying airplane. Mickey and Minnie Mouse appear throughout along w/Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow. Additional Big Bad Wolf coloring puzzle. Unused. Both have lt. cover aging and pair of hole punches at spine, but both remain very clean copies overall. Aside from hole punches, VF overall.
