8.25x12x2.5" deep cardboard box contains Whitman set No. 2004. ©1936 WDE. Contains 194 of "224 Pages Of Pictures To Color." 12 of these pages have been colored, o/w set is unused. Missing three generic crayons that were issued w/the set. 5" tall separate die-cut thick cardboard Mickey Mouse figure attached to center of lid. Text around this reads "Here Comes Mickey Mouse With His Big Big Color Set." Box has scattered handling wear, one corner split to lid and box bottom, bottom also having 4" edge split. .5x1.5" faint moisture stain to lid. Box still displays Fine. Mickey figure is VF. Each of the 7.5x11.75" pages feature reprinted images from various Whitman publications. Largely comprised of images from Mickey Mouse titles w/two picture panels per page. There are also a number of full page Donald Duck illustrations from coloring books. All pages have lightly tanned w/age but remain clean and VF overall. A rarely seen BLB-related set.
