Auction #215 - Part II
Item numbers 988 through 2613 in auction 215
Item Description
This is a c. 1954 Nabisco premium. The ring has narrow adjustable brass bands while the top has a hinged lid featuring high relief portrait of Rin Tin Tin. The lid lifts to reveal a pair of blue felt pads. These were used in conjunction with chemically treated paper strips which are not present plus the “Rin-Tin-Tin Magic Pencil” which is present. This is a 3.25” long crayon-like “pencil” made of what appears to be uncolored wax. It was used to make invisible writing become visible. Only a small bit of the pencil tip is blunted. The ring has lost most luster and the narrow bands have some tiny dark marks apparently from the owner getting ink on the bands. Both ink pads are intact. The ring is complete and VG while the rarer "pencil" is Exc. Scarce.
