Brass base has adjustable bands with small shield design on each upper side while the top has a plastic cover held in a hinged brass circle. Hinged cover can be lifted up and interior holds a glow-in-the-dark paper coated with luminous material. Not a ring noted for its bright luster on the brass but this example has particularly nice deep and rich luster compared to most.
