This seldom-seen, imaginative premium is from 1958. 6" long hard plastic. One side has metal pocket clip, top end has raised circular image of Preston and Yukon King on the mouthpiece of a whistle with show name in initials below image. There is a generic version of this premium without the Preston/King image on the mouthpiece and even that version is Scarce. Other features include inset metal compass, sundial, interior top opening serves as secret compartment, bottom tip is pen point. Also serves as a flashlight and 100% complete with interior pieces including bulb, spring, battery, plastic pieces serving as battery cover and activator. The battery is not original and not functional. Pen ink has dried out but visually condition is glossy NM. Comes w/ sheet probably from comic book promoting the premium. Small creases but clean. Rare.
