Item Description
Smallest button is 7/8” and largest 1.75” with other items to scale. Group begins with two pieces issued for Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee in 1897. The first is a celluloid in a tin frame with vertical stickpin. Second is a double sided celluloid that was once suspended. Reverse has much text relating to her reign. Third item is a real photo button of her. Displays well but a few tiny craze marks and pinpoint dots on close inspection. Last item for her is a memorial button with just a tiny age mark near the top. There are several items for Edward VII with the real photo button having a dark age mark on the right. Two items picturing George V show age with a die cut celluloid having tan marks on the front and marks all over the back plus a suspended medal with a poor condition ribbon. The George V silvered jubilee button dated “May 6” has some tiny rim nicks but displays well. In the bottom row both second and third Queen Elizabeth buttons show age staining. Vast majority of pieces are bright and clean and there are many seldom seen items included.
