Item Description
First is 1.75” button from 1899 “Benton Harbor Fruit Festival And Street Carnival.” A clown faces masked woman with both surrounded by corn stalks. Outstanding color. Bottom has light .75” hairline scratch seen only in reflected light. Full gloss and displays Mint. Next is 2-1/8” double sided fob with original ribbon at top. Dated for 1898 front reads “On The Way To The Benton Harbor Carnival” while on the reverse woman in risqué outfit is being thrown off her donkey with text “One Of The Sights At The Carnival./You Will Miss It, If You Miss It.” Couple of random and very faint slightly off color age marks on each side but both sides retain full gloss and the piece displays NM.
