Item Description
First is 2-1/8” with 99% silvering. A ribbon is attached at the collet although one strand is split through and the second strand is partially split with about 1/8” still intact. Ribbon back has safety pin and small label of maker W&H. The mirror itself is NM displaying Mint with text “Compliments Of Massachusetts Brewery Company.” Next is 2-1/8” with woman in risqué outfit being thrown from a donkey. Text does not include the word Shrine but almost certainly their issue with text “Winter Hill Lodge, No. 135 to Damocles Lodge, No. 16.” Mirror side has 1” streak and ¼” dot of silvering gone but about 95% remains. On the celluloid small marks around the word “Two” are in the art and not stain. Extreme edge does have a few tiny and barely seen grey dots but the piece still displays with high gloss and NM. Last is 2.75” oval with 94% silvering. Great color and design showing ostrich wearing fez against grove of orange trees. Rim text “Shriners Convention 1912 Los Angeles, Cal./Cawston Ostrich Farm.” Extreme bottom edge has small raised bump where the celluloid buckled just a trifle instead of folding perfectly smooth beneath the reverse collet. Almost no surface wear and displays Mint.
