Item Description
11/16” with name on reverse of maker Whitehead & Hoag. Below this is the word “Sterling.” After Japan surrendered and this project wound down, approximately 132,000 project members received one of these pins. The vast majority, see following item, received a brass pin but this Sterling version went to those serving longer than one year. .75” diameter. Essentially Mint with nice toning. Scarce.
