Item Description
The first 39 buttons in the Yellow Kid series from High Admiral Cigarettes were also issued in this format with a tin frame around a celluloid center and with a tin covered back and a hinged wire easel so they could be propped up. Each is 1.25”. The first piece, #20, has only the tin rim and the cello over paper insert, there is no tin back or easel. Next is #21 NM. Next is #22 with much age stain on background. Next is #27. This displays cleanly but the tin back was mounted so that the easel is on an angle so if propped the front design has more a vertical axis than a horizontal axis. Next is #30 with just a few light age marks on extreme outer edge.
