Item Description
Each is a 13/16” litho. The first was part of an early 1930s movie star set and has curl text “W&S Theater Premium Co. Pittsburgh, Pa.” Cream background paint is a little thin on the very outer edge so that gives the edge a slight blue tone but the paint actually has almost no wear. The second button has early Studio approved design of Mickey in his classic walking stance with hands extended. In addition to his name is the text “Copy 1928-1930 By W.E. Disney.” This button also has text on reverse, similar to preceding, but different location as “Western Theater Premium Co./1956 S. Vermont Ave. Los Angeles Cal.” Cream paint has darkened slightly over time but almost no paint wear. Two scarce early designs in beautiful condition.
