Item Description
This is Donald’s first portrait button promoting himself and it dates from 1935. 1.25” has reverse back paper picturing Mickey with hand extended beneath the words “Walt Disney Enterprises.” Rest of the paper text relates to Disney’s licensing agent “Kay Kamen.” Front of the button has wonderful image of early long-billed Donald and bottom edge also includes “©Walt Disney Enterprises.” Only the most minimal surface wear seen in reflected light. About as close to Mint as possible and rarely found this nice.
