Item Description
The two smaller bullets are 1.25” long while the three larger are 1.75”. Group begins with one from 1941 which has “Lone Ranger” on the end cap that opens with a compass on the underside and the interior meant to be a secret compartment. This once contained a piece of silver ore now missing. Good bit of the silver luster remains. This comes with a 2.5x3.75” folder in three sections and with front title “Here’s Your Appointment As A Lone Ranger Silver Bullet Defender.” Folder has original owner’s ink name with numerous creases and a few small stains mostly on the reverse panel. Also related “Special Lone Ranger Offer!” paper which is a coupon folded into 2x2” size for ordering additional bullets. This is NM. Next is actually a metal bullet shaped pencil sharpener from Lone Ranger sponsored “Merita Bread” with just a little wear on the name decal. Next and c. 1950 is bullet with hole in end to serve as a key fob and with text on one side “Lone Ranger” likely from General Mills. The last two pieces are c. late 1970s when Railway Express used Lone Ranger in their advertising. The first is a very heavy solid bullet with end text “Hi-Yo Rea Awaaay.” NM. Second is same as preceding but this one is made out of silver colored plastic and it has a pull-off end cap so interior can serve as secret compartment. This one is actually scarcer than the metal version. Few tiny dots of luster off. A nice group of the highly iconic Lone Ranger’s silver bullets.
