Very graphic 1” Australian button issued c. 1948 to promote the Superman serials starring Kirk Alyn. We’ve seen three in the past for “Hoyt’s Suburban Theaters” but this is the first for “Bailey’s.” Button has barely seen air mark upper center. Also in reflected light there are about twenty pinpoint marks on the celluloid surface. These are near microscopic surface indents. Button still displays NM and with full gloss. Rare.
