Item Description
Each litho tin ring is 2-9/16” wide. None of these were ever bent into a circular shape although each is lightly tacked with two glue dots to a 12x12” sheet of stiff black cardboard. The only three missing are from the 1949 set and these are Mac, Maggie, and Mama. Just a few have slight color fade or a few oxidation marks and these are: Lillums, Winnie Winkle, Perry Winkle, Hans, Smitty, Dagwood, Captain and Skeezix. Others are NM to Mint. Among the major characters are: Flash Gordon, The Phantom, Popeye and Friends, Felix, Dick Tracy, and Orphan Annie. These rings were distributed in a sealed paper container and inserted into the cereal boxes.
