Item Description
Pair of 5.25" and 4.5" tall wooden figures w/movable, wooden strung arms. c. 1940 and the first merchandise produced for these characters. Figures originally had paper labels on bottom w/character names and "Leon Schlesinger - Geo. Borgfeldt Corp. New York" text. Elmer features early look as he was still evolving from the Egghead character and is complete w/wooden hat. Petunia Pig is missing hat. Both have lt. dust soiling. Elmer is VF overall. Petunia has some more wear/soiling to face and is Fine overall. Both are rare.
