Lot of five painted and glazed ceramic figurines, all depicting Pluto. Figurines range from 3.25" tall (by 6" long) to 6.75" tall. c. 1940s. Lot includes two produced by Brayton Laguna, two produced by Shaw/American Pottery and one by Leeds. Figurines all feature different poses. Pose w/head lowered to the ground and rear end raised into the air has faded Shaw sticker. Other American Pottery figurine features Pluto sitting. These both have typical crazing but are VF/Exc. overall. The Brayton figurines feature Pluto howling and in similar head lowered to the ground and rear end raised into the air pose, one ear raised. Howling pose has tiny glaze nick at edge of mouth. Fine/VF. Other is Exc. Leeds figurine features Pluto seated and looking over his shoulder. Exc.
