Item Description
11x14" cardboard-covered spiral-bound exhibitor's book w/64 stiff paper pages including a few fold-out extended pages. Inside covers and facing page are devoted to RKO's contributions to the war effort. Remaining pages are devoted to film releases as well as movie shorts, sports, cartoons, news, etc. Some two-page spreads include Walt Disney's "Bambi" w/fold-out, Johnny Weissmuller in two Tarzan features, Ginger Rogers and Cary Grant in "Once Upon A Honeymoon," Edgar Bergen and Charlie McCarthy, Claudette Colbert in "China Sky," Victor Mature and Lucille Ball in "Seven Days' Leave" w/fold-out and others including Gary Cooper in "The Pride Of The Yankees" w/fold-out, "I Walked With A Zombie, The Leopard Man" and "The Cat People" as well as a page dedicated to "Walt Disney 18 Single-Reel Featurettes" w/Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, Goofy and others. Single pages feature Lum & Abner, Tim Holt Westerns and Hitler's Children, an expose on the Hitler Youth. Covers are thin cardboard covered by very thin clear laminate which has scattered tears/chips. Covers show some scattered handling wear and are Fine overall. Contents have varying degrees of handling wear w/moderate dust soiling to one two-page spread which is Fine while rest art VF-Exc. Extremely limited distribution, just sent to theater owners and those in the trade.
