Original illustrated cardboard box w/full color label contains 12.5" tall talking doll. Mattel, ©1964 Kayro-Vue Productions. Box has even moderate aging and some handling wear w/color rubs to front panel label and shallow .5" puncture on back panel. Top flap has a few small punctures and piece of tape at closure tab. Fine. Doll features Herman Munster w/vinyl hands/head and cloth-costumed body w/built-in voice box. Despite "A Guaranteed Mattel Talking Toy" gold seal on box front, voice mechanism no longer works as is typical of talking dolls of this age and style. Aside from this, doll is in choice, NM condition and comes w/Mattel warranty/guarantee card. Card is one of two varieties, this being the more desirable of the two, w/"Herman Munster" name in same font as on box. The other card featured a generic gold Mattel logo w/o mention of Herman. Card has original elastic string tag w/tiny tear at holes but stays in place. Card is aged and Fine/VF overall. Rare w/box. One of the nicest Munsters items produced during the show's initial run.
