5.5" tall beautifully painted and glazed ceramic. c. 1939. This is the largest and nicest of three different Jiminy Cricket figures by Brayton Laguna (see following item #1895). Jiminy stands in stoic pose w/umbrella in one hand. Has two thin 1" streaks w/o glaze (as made). These are on front edge of hat brim and top of hat and are really only noticeable when viewed closely or to the touch. This in no way takes away from its appearance, which remains totally bright and glossy. Exc. Among the nicest of all Jiminy Cricket figurines.
