Item Description
Large and exceptionally nice 8x9x13.5" tall figural cookie jar. One of an exceptional series of "Alice In Wonderland" pieces produced by Regal, see items #1916-1921. Underside has incised "Walt Disney Productions" copyright and "'Alice In Wonderland' name. c. 1951. Fantastic image of a startled Alice w/her arms raised and mouth open. Base features mushrooms around her feet. Black bow on top of Alice's head has a few small paint flakes and lid has 1/8" flake to front center underside of Alice's dress and shallow .25" flake off underside by bow on back of dress. Jar bottom has tiny 1/8" nick to inner rim. These flakes do not distract greatly when lid is in place. Still bright, glossy and displays VF/Exc. overall. Rare and desirable Walt Disney cookie jar.
