Item Description
4.75x7" double-sided herald for the original release of the 1937 film "Saratoga," which starred Clark Gable and Jean Harlow. This was Harlow's last film, as she died of kidney failure during filming. She was 26. The film was ultimately completed using stand-ins and the finished film was MGM's biggest success of 1937. This herald was issued w/one side dominated by close-up photo image of Harlow w/"Lest We Forget" text at top. Reverse has typical movie herald information. Photo side has .75x1" area of staining on Harlow's cheek and herald has even moderate aging. Fine overall.
