Item Description
Pair of 5.25" tall sconces w/flat reverse that has small opening for wall mounting. Made in Japan, 1930s. Backs of each have Betty Boop and Fleischer Studios names, an obvious factory error as Little Orphan Annie should have her name and Famous Artists Syndicate. Several different sconces were produced w/different images/color schemes. First features Little Orphan Annie enjoying ice cream float w/Sandy. Second features Betty Boop walking w/Bimbo. These are done the same color scheme, tan w/blue top w/opalescent finish. Both are glossy and Exc. w/high gloss finish. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
