H.R.H. refers to Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of York, who was at the time Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, later Queen Elizabeth to King George VI and then, as of 1952 upon her daughter Elizabeth's coronation, The Queen Mother. These wonderful mugs were distributed to children in orphanages in London and surrounding areas. Mug features choice graphics w/front featuring Mickey Mouse and Pluto in a rowboat running into "No Fishing" sign. Back image is of Mickey w/fishing rod, his line's hook caught on his pants. 1-5/8" hairline by tree image w/Mickey and Pluto, but this blends and is really only noticeable on interior of mug, and only upon close inspection.
