Item Description
Lot of 49, each 1-1/8x2-1/8" thick cardboard. Issued between 1937-1941 by Peerless Weighing & Vending Machine Corp. Front of each features star's name along w/studio name. Each reverse is marked "Collect Engrav-O-Tints - Portraits Of Movie Stars" along w/fortune. Cards are sometimes found w/weight inkstamp imprint on reverse, however all of these are w/o imprint. Stars include - Gene Autry, Lucille Ball, Capt. Clark Gable, Judy Garland, Roy Rogers, John Wayne, Claudette Colbert, Betty Grable, Katharine Hepburn, James Stewart, Spencer Tracy and others. While many cards have images a bit off-center as printed, all remain clean w/sharp corners. NM/Mint.
