Item Description
15.75" dia. by 8.25" tall vinyl-covered hat box w/three metal snap latches and plastic carrying handle. Vintage 1950s hat box but was customized at the time w/the addition of seven approx. 3x5" period decals of pin-up beauties. Each is different, including art by Al Buell. Metal latches and edge accents pieces have some trace oxidation, but vinyl remains bright, glossy and clean. Interior is clean as well and case just shows lt. trace of wear. Very likely used by a burlesque performer given the custom decorations and the age of this great display piece.
