Item Description
Pair of illustrated cardboard boxes contain total of three fire engine toys. First is 6.5x9x2.25" box w/die-cut display lid that contains 6.25" and 8" long hard plastic, free-wheeling firetrucks. California Moulders Inc., 1950s. Box contains "Assembly Kit No. 1" which consists of "Aerial Ladder" truck and "Fire Engine" truck. Firetrucks come w/hard plastic ladder assemblies w/firemen figures which are still sealed in original cellophane bags, though one bag has since split. Box shows all over age spotting and die-cut lid has been punched. Original store price sticker on lid. Scattered handling wear. Fine w/NM contents. Other box (w/nicely illustrated lid) contains 13" long tin litho firetruck. Made in Japan by Momoya Shoten, 1960s. Box shows wear w/left corners dented in but is complete w/cardboard insert. Fine. Toy is designed w/extendable ladder, fireman figures on the trailer and is very nicely detailed. Scattered pinpoint paint nicks mostly on roof of cab but glossy w/working friction. Exc.
