Item Description
27x40" one-sheet poster features full body image of Jack Hoxie seated on rearing "'Scout' The Wonder Horse." Poster text reads "Chas. Sparks Presents The Famous Western Screen Star Jack Hoxie In Person With Downie Bros. Circus." Printer name is not listed. c. 1934. Small penciled date at upper left. Poster shows obvious wear, w/margin paper replaced around entire poster and scattered tape staining from tape placed on back of poster along fold lines. Upper right has 2.5x4.75" piece replaced as well as 3" and 9.5" repaired tears. Scattered surface paper wear along bottom from date sheet removal w/some scattered color touch-up. Lower portion of "Circus" text has some moisture staining. VG overall. Fred Hoffman Collection.
