Item Description
8.5x10-5/8" program w/64 pages for the 1969 Newport Jazz festival, an experiment in fusing jazz, soul and rock music/audiences. Line-up included - Jeff Beck, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Ten Years After, Jethro Tull, Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck Trio featuring Gerry Mulligan, John Mayall, Sly & the Family Stone, James Brown w/Nipsy Russell, Herbie Hancock, B.B. King and Led Zeppelin. Other performers of note included - Sun Ra and Space Arkestra, Mothers of Invention, Art Blakey and Johnny Winter. Photos and art throughout. Program has some handling wear w/pinch creases to spine, color rubs to spine on back and minor corner tip wear. Fine/VF overall.
