Item Description
10" dia. die-cut cardboard display contains complete amount of 12 plastic watches, each w/1" dia. metal cases and plastic straps. Made in Mexico, display is marked "Big Boy - Exacto - Karim." c. 1966. Watch dials feature flicker/flasher inserts, each revealing watch face and superhero face. These include - Batman (4), Robin (3), Superman (3) and Spider-Man (2). Cases show varying degrees of wear and watches are Fine-VF overall. Display has inked price at top and scattered aging/handling wear. Fine. Great display piece w/Marvel and DC Comics crossover appeal. Very rare. Listed in "The Full-Color Guide To Marvel Silver Age Collectibles" by J. Ballmann w/a value of $2,000-3,000 for a full display (Spider-Man watch on its own at $400-600 each).
