Heavy stock 26x40" silver foil Advance one-sheet poster for Richard Donner's 1978 Superman film starring Christopher Reeve. Another Advance poster was produced on Mylar, but featured a different design, utilizing just Superman's iconic "S" symbol. Poster offered here features film's title/logo above "Coming For Christmas" text. Credits at bottom. Printed on a shiny, aluminum foil-like surface, these posters can be damaged very easily and as such, are hard to find in higher grade condition. Poster shows lt. handling wear w/minor .5" handling crease at upper right. Top margin has pin hole 7.5" away from left corner w/1/8" slightly raised area around pin hole. Top margin also has two small raised impression dots. Minor corner tip wear. VF overall, but if framed, would display Exc. Much nicer than typically found and the best example of this much-desired poster we have ever offered. Franco Toscanini Collection.
