Item Description
Sky King's first premium ring, known as the "Radar Signal" ring was offered in 1946. Ring features brass base w/adjustable bands while top holds rectangular glow-in-the-dark plastic stone which glows a soft blue. Top piece slides off to reveal interior compartment. When top is removed, ring top displays Sky King Flying Crown logo. Each side of the ring has "Sky King" name above winged propeller. Much of the original luster remains and brass areas are bright and clean. VF. Comes w/complete set of six soft plastic figures, each about 2.5" tall/long. Unmarked but made by Marx and offered as premiums through Nabisco Wheat Honeys and Rice Honeys, 1956. Set includes four w/name plaques- Sky King, Penny, Clipper and Sheriff plus Songbird (airplane) and Yellow Fury (horse). Some lt. aging to Songbird and Yellow Fury, VF. Others are Exc. Nice set w/color varieties.
