Original Steiff cardboard box w/label noting contents as "1 Safariwagen 8857/25" contains 9.75" long painted resin body free-wheeling land rover vehicle. This is version w/removable painted steel top made by Steiff 1971-1979. Box has inked price on lid and slight inward warp. .5" spot of surface paper lift to end label but box is o/w VF. Land rover has vinyl tires and hard plastic steering wheel which turns front tires. Folding clear plastic windshield has lt. aging and a few pinpoint nicks to steel top, but o/w vehicle is Exc./NM. Unusual design from company best known for their plush animals.
