Item Description
2.5x9x13" box has applied paper label on top with illustration of Maggie and Jiggs. Small text at bottom reads "Geo. Borgfeldt & Co. New York." Box and label show extensive wear. Old cellophane tape remains along edges. Box bottom has 1.5x9" paper label reading "Bringing Up Father." Attached to box bottom is long cloth string which originally held characters in place for display. Box Good. 9" Maggie/7" Jiggs have painted composition heads, wooden bodies and fabric clothing. Arms, legs and necks are jointed. Bottom of Jiggs' shoe has paper label ©1924 International Features Services. Also included is 3" wooden rolling pin for Maggie to hold. 2" wooden lunch bucket for Jiggs reading "Corned Beef And Cabbage." Extensive detail and highlights to facial features on both. Jiggs' left leg is loose from body, but not noticeable when displayed as it is hidden by outfit. Maggie has professional paint touchup to flake on top of hair. O/w dolls are VF/Exc.
