Item Description
Each is 6x4.5". All are made by Bastian Bros. Each with two holes at top and bottom as made. Each with Republican eagles around top border. First is black background Hoover. Slightly domed front as made. Light wear. VF. Second is white background Hoover. 1/8" tear at top border extending from hole to edge. Four 1x3/4" surface paper loss areas on back corners. Does not affect display. Fine. Last is 1928 Wisconsin gubernatorial for Fred R. Zimmerman. Text at bottom reads "Authorized Paid Zimmerman Club." 5/8" cello split at upper right edge. Bastian Bros. back stamp. Zimmerman was elected in 1926 by an absolute majority, but lost his 1928 re-election by placing a distant third. Fine. Julie Powell Collection.
