Item Description
8" long. Listed as JP-1 in Sullivan/Fisher reference. Features large portraits of candidates each encircled by a wreath. Top reads "Alone But Not Forgotten" with a large star reading "Texas". Under Dallas portrait, in tiny print, is a quote by Andrew Jackson "Let Polk, Dallas & Texas Be The Watchword & Countersign And Victory Is Certain". Three areas of tape residue from previous mounting with a pair at bottom and one at top right. Additionally an ink inscription reading "Mary" is at bottom right and a 3/4" separation at bottom left otherwise only minor scattered dots of toning. Fine with the portraits being unaffected and displaying VF. An excellent opportunity to obtain a key classic jugate ribbon. Rare.
