Item Description
2.5x4.75x1-1/8" deep cardboard box w/lid that reads "Dick Tracy Wrist Watch" and includes "Dick Tracy Wrist Watch For The Junior - A Guaranteed American Watch" text on lid interior. A rather plain box but very rare and only the third example we have offered in our 48 years. Box lid is loose at hinge but complete w/die-cut insert and inspections/packing slip. Box shows scattered aging/wear w/noticeable edge rubs. .25" moisture spot on insert. Fine overall. 1-1/8x1.5" chrome luster metal case watch has nice dial art showing Tracy w/hand in pocket, his other hand holding gun. Small Chester Gould facsimile signature at bottom. Leather bands show lt. wear from use but are Fine overall. Case has some luster wear. Watch is running. Fine/VF overall.
