Based on American/Japanese "The King Kong Show" cartoon series produced in 1966 by Videocraft of the USA, and Japan's Toei Animation. This show was the first anime series produced in Japan for an American company. ABC ran the series in the US between Sept. 1966, and Aug. 1969. See King Kong Talking Puppet, item #2298. Box has original store price sticker on lid side panel and is complete w/illustrated insert w/instructions and factory-sealed tray containing wooden die and four generic plastic playing pieces. 16.25x16.25" gameboard w/colorful design features King Kong portraits and images of main characters.
