Item Description
Pair of illustrated cardboard boxes contain complete and unused model kits for Evel Knievel's steam-powered rocket that he attempted to jump Snake River Canyon with on Sept. 8, 1974. The X-2's parachute deployed during the launch, causing the stunt to fail. Kits are ©1974/1975 Evel Knievel. 6-3/8x11-3/8x2" deep box contains Addor Products Corp. kit No. 154. Kit comes w/Knievel figure, Sky Cycle X-2 replica, Snake River Canyon replica, base, decals, instructions and "A Personally Autographed Photo Of Evel Knievel!" Box has two corner splits to shrink-wrap but o/w remains tightly sealed. VF w/contents Mint as factory-sealed. 10x16.5x2.25" deep box w/photo label contains Centuri "Flying Model Rocket Starter Set" that actually used rocket to launch Sky Cycle replica. Shrink-wrap has some corner tip splits and 1.5" and 5.5" splits on back (w/some aging to box) but o/w remains sealed. Box has some lt. aging. Fine/VF w/contents Mint as factory-sealed.
